What You Would Do in This Role The Receptionist maintains the front desk as the primary point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and efficient handling of inquiries. Supports administrative tasks and collaborates with the Facilities and Human Resources teams to uphold security protocols and provide excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Front Desk and Reception Management: Greets visitors warmly, directs them appropriately, and maintains a tidy and inviting reception area. Communication and Collaboration: Manages incoming calls and emails, ensuring clear and professional communication with internal and external parties. Administrative Support: Assists with scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and booking meeting rooms as needed. Facilities Operations and Maintenance: Coordinates with the Facilities team to report maintenance issues and supports the upkeep of common areas. Supply Management: Monitors front desk supplies and requests replenishments to ensure continuous availability. Event Coordination: Provides logistical support for company meetings and small events, assisting with setup and coordination. Safety Compliance: Follows security and safety procedures, including visitor sign-in protocols and emergency guidelines. Performing other administrative duties, as required. Required Qualifications and Skills Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Organization: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with standard office equipment and basic software applications. Reliability: Consistent punctuality and attendance, demonstrating dependability. Preferred Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Previous experience in reception, customer service, or administrative roles. Technical Skills: Knowledge of multi-line phone systems and experience with scheduling or visitor management software. Additional Skills: Basic understanding of office procedures and administrative best practices.
