This crucial role entails providing direction and advice on labour policies and collective agreements while collaborating with unions and contractors. With over 7 years in the field, you will develop and implement effective practices for preventing and resolving labour issues, ensuring a harmonious work environment. Your strategic insights will guide project management for pivotal activities, enhancing operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:• Support labour policies and legislation interpretation • Liaise with unions for grievance handling • Build and maintain key relationships externally • Develop project strategies for turnarounds • Create comprehensive labour relations procedures
Requirements:• Degree in Human Resources with Labour Relations focus • 7+ years of relevant experience • Strong knowledge of Alberta’s labour laws • Background in unionized work environments • CPHR designation preferred
