The Fort McMurray Roman Catholic Separate School Division is seeking the interest of teachers kindergarten to grade 12 including specializing in math, sciences and humanities for potential positions in the 2026-2027 school year.
Duties of School Teachers
identify students’ individual and collective learning needs
plan and deliver instruction based on student learning needs and special needs
provide a stimulating learning environment in which each student can experience growth and develop to his or her potential
help students learn appropriate knowledge, skills and attitudes
meet with parents
evaluate and communicate student progress
prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help
meet with other professionals to discuss individual student needs and progress
volunteer to supervise extracurricular and after-school activities
attend meetings, seminars, and in-service training sessions

Must be eligible for Alberta Teacher Certification and hold a Bachelor of Education Degree

Commitment to education and excited to work with students each day
The successful candidate will be required to provide a Criminal Reference Check and a Vulnerable Sector Check. FMCSD will contact past and present employers for references. All FMCSD employees are expected to be computer literate; this includes fluency with e-mail, Internet and MS Office.
