Job Title Industrial Coating Technician – Airless Spray Paint Specialist Location Ingersoll / Woodstock Area (Southwestern Ontario) Job Type Full-Time | Permanent Shift Rotating Shift (Days & Afternoons) Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Industrial Coating Technician specializing in airless spray application for heavy industrial equipment. This is a hands-on shop-floor role focused on high-quality surface preparation, coating application, and finishing work on large manufactured components. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment meets strict durability, protection, and quality standards in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities - Prepare metal surfaces for coating (cleaning, degreasing, sanding, masking, and blasting as required) - Apply industrial coatings using airless spray systems, spray guns, and conventional methods - Mix, match, and prepare paints and protective coatings to required specifications - Apply primers and multi-coat finishing systems on heavy equipment - Monitor coating quality including thickness (mil), coverage, humidity, and dew point - Follow production schedules and meet required output standards - Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas - Properly clean, maintain, and store spray equipment and tools - Work safely in accordance with shop and environmental safety procedures Requirements - Experience in industrial painting or coatings application (heavy equipment or manufacturing preferred) - Strong experience with airless spray painting systems - Knowledge of surface preparation and industrial coating processes - Ability to measure and maintain coating thickness and quality standards - Attention to detail with strong focus on finish quality - Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting - Willingness to work rotating shifts (days and afternoons) and overtime when required Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in industrial finishing work.
