Position Scope: This role focuses on the technical upkeep and optimization of electronic sorting systems within the food industry, requiring a blend of hands-on maintenance and strategic process improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing automated equipment, training operators, and collaborating to refine sorting programs. Beyond technical repairs, the position drives continuous improvement regarding safety and quality. Work Environment & Physical: - Primarily on-site in a manufacturing environment with exposure to plant operations. - Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. - Occasional lifting may be required. Qualification & Experience: - Experience working with automated equipment and electronics in an industrial setting is a requirement - Red seal certification, engineering or technology related education would be preferred. - Prior relevant experience in continuous improvement Desired Skills and Abilities: - Follow all policies and procedures and work in a safe manner - Ability to work independently and as a part of a team - Good Time management - Security minded - Must be able to work rotating shifts - Must be able to work with products including but not limited to onions and wheat Applications can be made by visiting and applying through our career center.
