Summary: The Seasonal Cook position gives the applicant the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team in a fun, quick paced environment. As a Line Cook you will be a pivotal team member supporting our restaurant and banquet event services. Responsibilities: - Prepare, assemble, and execute menu items for dine-in, take-out, banquets, and plated service - Operate kitchen equipment including grill, flattop, fryers, and pizza ovens - Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and accurately, especially during service - Follow recipes, prep sheets, kitchen manuals, and established procedures - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen; complete daily cleaning and equipment logs - Assist with receiving deliveries and verifying product quality and quantities - Manage inventory through proper stock rotation, storage, and temperature control - Work safely and efficiently to ensure consistent food quality and cost control - Communicate professionally with the Food & Beverage team - Complete opening and closing checklists as required Qualifications: - Minimum 6 months experience as a cook (1–2 years preferred) - Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn - Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong time management skills - Available to work versatile shifts - Reliable transportation to and from work - Legally eligible to work in Canada - Food Handler Certification required or willingness to obtain (First Aid an asset) Working Conditions: Bending, lifting, extended periods of standing - Reason for Vacancy: - Seasonal position, and dependent on the weather and golf season.
