Senior GNC/AOCS Engineer at INDRA DEIMOS (Oxford)

INDRA DEIMOS seeks a Senior GNC/AOCS Engineer to lead innovative projects in Guidance, Navigation, and Control systems. This hybrid role focuses on algorithm design and validation for aerospace applications. As part of the GNC/AOCS Competence Centre, you will contribute to systems for Earth observation and interplanetary missions. We're looking for someone with at least five years’ experience in control systems, dynamic simulations, and GNC/AOCS solution development. In this position, your expertise will help propel advancements in satellite technology and support critical missions. Key Responsibilities: - Design and validate AOCS and FDIR algorithms - Implement and test simulation models for GNC/AOCS - Specify and procure sensors for GNC systems - Analyze dynamic systems and trade-off hardware solutions - Lead technical and team management initiatives Requirements: - Engineering degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field - 5+ years of relevant experience in GNC/AOCS - Strong background in control and dynamic simulations - Valuable programming skills, especially in Matlab/Simulink - Experience with FDIR solutions in aerospace Utilize your engineering expertise to advance aerospace technology at INDRA DEIMOS.
