Assistant Tax Manager Are you an ambitious tax professional looking for progression in a high-quality practice? This is a superb opportunity for an Assistant Tax Manager to join an established and growing firm in Oxford, offering a varied client base and exceptional development support. The Role As Assistant Tax Manager, you’ll support senior colleagues while managing your own diverse portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients. Key responsibilities include: - Managing your own portfolio of clients - Preparing and reviewing corporate and personal tax returns - Supporting advisory projects including restructuring, succession planning, CGT and IHT - Conducting technical research and drafting client reports - Interacting directly with clients and providing high-quality support - Assisting in reviewing work and guiding junior team members About You You’ll be a motivated tax professional with a strong technical foundation and a desire to progress. You will - CTA or ACA/ACCA qualified/part-qualified - Strong grounding in UK tax compliance - Confident communicator with strong analytical ability - Comfortable managing clients independently - Motivated to take the next step toward Manager level The Firm A respected regional accountancy and advisory practice with a robust presence across Oxfordshire.
