Senior Construction Estimator Position, Wellington (Elora)

Lead the estimation efforts for mechanical industrial projects as a Senior Construction Estimator. Prepare comprehensive cost projections, manage tender submissions, and liaise with various stakeholders in this full-time role.

In this position, you will work closely with the Division Manager to prepare bids and oversee the tendering process. Your responsibilities include maintaining detailed documentation and project schedules, analyzing supplier quotes, and ensuring project compliance with specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:• Develop detailed cost estimates for construction bids • Analyze drawings and specifications for accuracy • Review and assess subcontractor quotations • Establish and maintain project cost-monitoring systems • Provide actionable insights to project teams

Requirements:• Completion of secondary school diploma • Relevant college program or equivalent experience • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel • Familiarity with project management software advantageous • Strong detail orientation and analytical ability
