Ironworker– Reinforcing Rebar Job Details
Location: Unit B, 420, MELAIR DR Ayr, ON N0B 1E0
Salary: $27.00 hourly (30 to 40 hours per week)
Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Work Location: Must be completed at the physical location (no remote option)
Green Job: Contributes to positive environmental outcomes and Canada’s net‑zero target
Experience 3 years to less than 5 years
Work Setting
Relocation costs not covered by employer
Responsibilities&Tasks
Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
Address customers’ complaints or concerns
Maintain professionalism in customer service
Load and unload goods
Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
Perform pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Perform preventive maintenance
Credentials&Certifications
DZ class license
Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Documentation Knowledge

Inspection report (pre‑trip, en‑route, post‑trip)
