Job Summary The Automotive Service Installer works in a fast‑paced Automotive Service Centre environment. The role includes oil and lube service, tire installation, tire rotation and balancing and light vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities
Perform customer vehicle basic maintenance and repairs, as requested (lube, oil and filter changes, tire installation, removal, rotating and balancing, basic repairs, maintenance and inspections that do not require the presence of a Licensed Automobile Technician, etc.).
Administer drive‑clean emission tests (only in specific provinces).
Perform Registered Imported Vehicle (RIV) inspections.
Communicate with Service Manager/Service Advisors/Licensed Automobile Technicians and Back Parts Window Associate.
Provide accurate estimates and written vehicle reports to the Service Advisor.
Ensure that an unsafe vehicle is reported to management and vehicle owner.
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
Requirements / Skills
Valid driver’s license for province of employment.
Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, twisting, turning and reaching.
Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week‑ends and holidays).
Approachable.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make decisions.
Knowledge of current automobile technology.
Ability to work effectively with computerized systems.
Results‑oriented.
Experience in a similar role, in a Canadian Tire Automotive Service Centre (asset).
Good working knowledge of COSTAR (asset).
