What You Bring

Successful completion of Food Service Worker Certificate and Food Handler Training Program (or commitment to obtain within a specified period, as required under the Fixing Long Term Care Homes Act and its Regulations)

Must be willing to accept verbal and/or written direction

Able to cope with the physical and emotional demands of the position

Geriatric, long‑term care experience is beneficial

Experience in long‑term care food service is an asset, including texture‑modified diets, therapeutic and production spreadsheets

Good communication skills, able to read and write in the English language

Punctual and reliable

Starting rate of pay is $20.70 per hour, and the terms and conditions of employment are as per the Collective Agreement.
