Rate of Pay $23.77

As a Dietary Aide at Long Term Care, you will contribute more than just your professional skills; you will create meaningful relationships with the individuals who call Sienna Senior Living their home. You will deliver compassionate care to our residents through your responsibilities in dietary services, deepening connections with residents, coworkers, and the team that prioritizes living each resident’s life story.

What You’ll Be Doing You will be a welcomed member of the Long Term Care team, working in a fast‑paced environment where you will make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives. Your duties include:

Assist with the preparation of meals, and serving meals

Follow residents’ diets and food preferences

Take the menu orders from the residents

Set and clear tables in the dining rooms and ensure they are sanitized

Ensure proper food‑handling techniques are followed

Who You Are

Have a valid Safe Food Handler’s Certificate or are willing to obtain one

Are committed to providing compassionate support that enables seniors to live their lives to the fullest

Are detail‑oriented with strong customer service skills and can effectively communicate with residents and staff

Have experience in food service from institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality settings (preferred)

Possessing a Food Service Worker Certificate would be excellent but is not required

Are legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work permit

Can successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and/or Criminal Record Check applicable to the appropriate province
