Operator, Production (Feta/Fruilano), Wellington (Elora)

Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking an Operator, Production (Feta/Fruilano) to assist in manufacturing and packaging cheese in a clean and safe environment. The role reports to the Supervisor of Production and follows company standards and safety objectives.

Status: Permanent/Full-time. Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 pm – 6:00 am. Salary: $27.25 per hour, with two increases in the first year reaching $30.25 per hour.

Responsibilities

Complete processes for Friulano, Feta, and Table production.

Operate all equipment in the Feta/Fruilano department.

Record required data and inventory entries accurately.

Perform sanitation duties, including disassembly and re‑assembly of equipment for cleaning per SOP.

Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures to ensure product quality.

Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation, responsibility, initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Ensure safe conditions and protect health and safety, complying with the Health and Safety policy.

Participate fully in the HACCP program and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Sound communication and interpersonal skills, with analytical and organizational skills.

Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.

Availability to work various shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.

Working knowledge of computers; high school diploma preferred (not required).

Proficiency and dependability in current position.
