Welder/Fitter/Fabricator (Wallenstein)

Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder/Fitter/Fabricator to cut, weld and grind our furniture parts Duties - Perform MIG welding on various materials following detailed blueprints and schematics - Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly - Use hand tools, power tools, to shape and assemble component - Conduct machining operations as needed for precise fitting of parts - Measure materials with calipers and other precision tools to ensure specifications are met - Bandsaw cutting light tubing - Assist in assembly processes, ensuring all parts fit correctly according to schematics - Maintain a clean and safe work workplace by adhering to safety protocols Requirements - Proven experience in welding (MIG and TIG), fabrication, or related manufacturing roles - Familiarity with forklift operation, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations - Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately - Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques - Strong understanding of safety procedures in manufacturing environments - Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced settingThis position is integral to our manufacturing operations and offers opportunities for skill development in various fabrication techniques.
