Senior Hair Stylist, Wellington (Elora)

Guys&Dolls Salon and Spa is a premier salon in Elmira, ON offering a variety of services including but not limited to, color, cut, blowout, and waxing. We are looking for a Hair Stylist to join our team and add to our clientele.

Job Summary The Hair Stylist is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all of our clients. The Hair Stylist will be responsible for creating unique and memorable experiences for our clients by engaging with them and responding to their needs. The ideal candidate will be able to provide high quality services while maintaining a positive attitude.

Essential Duties&Responsibilities

Provide high quality services

Maintain a positive attitude towards guests and clients

Greet clients as they arrive at the salon

Provide consultation on products and techniques when appropriate

Recommend products based on client’s needs

Cleanse, cut, color, add-ons, and wash hair using professional quality equipment

Maintain cleanliness of the salon and equipment during regular cleaning sessions

Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisor

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Ability to work independently with limited supervision while still displaying strong teamwork skills required. Must be willing to perform essential duties without supervision in order to support other staff members in their essential duties as assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

Pay: $20.00-$60.00 per hour
