Join the Waterloo Region District School Board as a Before and After School Support employee, focusing on play-based programming for junior kindergarten to grade 6. Help create a positive and engaging environment for students in WRDSB's programs.

The B.A.S.S. role supports children's exploration, communication, and self-regulation while ensuring their health and safety. You will interact with children, parents, and staff, promoting an inclusive culture tailored to each child's needs. Your experience will ensure children are supervised and supported through active play and rest periods.

Key Responsibilities:• Support interactions among children, parents, and staff • Encourage child self-regulation and communication • Promote play-based exploration and inquiry • Maintain inclusive, positive learning environments • Supervise children's health and safety during activities

Requirements:• High school diploma or GED equivalent • Experience supporting and supervising children • Valid Standard First Aid with CPR Level C/AED • Current Police Vulnerable Sector Check • Documentation of experience and qualifications
