Health and Safety Manager in Construction, Wellington (Elora)

Lead occupational health and safety initiatives as a Health and Safety Manager, focusing on compliance and safety culture within landscaping and construction operations.

In this full-time role, you will strengthen health and safety programs and ensure adherence to provincial and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will draw on experience in construction and landscaping safety standards, Ontario's OHSA, and WSIB requirements to enhance workplace safety across multiple project sites.

Key Responsibilities:• Develop and maintain safety policies in line with OHSA and WSIB regulations • Conduct job site inspections and hazard assessments regularly • Lead incident and near-miss investigations to improve safety • Manage WSIB claims and return-to-work programs effectively• Deliver comprehensive safety training programs including First Aid/CPR

Requirements:• Proven experience in construction or landscaping safety • Strong understanding of Ontario OHSA and WSIB processes • Experience preparing detailed reports and training programs • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Ability to ensure compliance across multiple sites
