Job Description As part of the Chassis Upfit Team this individual will: - Upfitting vocational vacuum trucks and truck chassis - Layout, fit and weld subassemblies, components and equipment according to specifications - Welding and fabrication required, mild steel, stainless and aluminum - Brake press and shear experience required - Mechanical aptitude required - Layout and build, Frame mount brackets, water pump systems, drive systems, electrical components (12v systems), hydraulics, and pneumatics. - Repair work and troubleshooting also required Skills the ideal candidate has include: - Previous experience working in a manufacturing workplace considered an asset - Previous welding experience - High attention to detail - Previous experience working with hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems considered an asset.
