Coffee Roaster And Production Assistant Revelstoke (Canada)

Overview We are looking for a driven & experienced individual with previous roasting experience, or an enthusiastic individual with the right attribute and willing to learn a coffee roasting assistant role. This person will have to be organized, timely, enthusiastic about coffee and proactive. We either have a part time or more full time role available depending on the candidate and previous roasting experience and could lead to or include coffee shop work. We require a minimum commitment of a year, the longer the better. Duties Organizing green coffee Planning the roasting day Packaging coffee Keeping the production facility clean and tidy Being timely Stock management Quality control Possible deliveries around Revelstoke Equipment maintenance Skills Knowledge of food industry standards, including sanitation and food safety practices Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues is an asset Experience with packaging processes and handling food processing machinery is a plus Robust organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction Ability to adapt Pay: $22.00-$29.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2nm729
