Production Machine Operator Ft Am Day Shift Brampton (Canada)

Location: Brampton, ON Type: Full time, AM Day Shift (7 AM -3 :30 PM) Pay: $19.00/ hr. About the Role The Open Cell Area Operator is responsible for operating and supporting production activities in the Open Cell area, including machine operation, tooling setup, product packaging, quality checks and maintaining workplace safety and housekeeping standards. The operator will work closely with the production team to ensure e icient and safe manufacturing operations. We are currently hiring an Open Cell Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating production and packaging machines, performing tooling setup, quality inspections, and supporting daily production activities in a safe and efficient environment. Responsibilities Operate production and packaging compression machines in the Open Cell department Perform tooling setup and machine changeovers as needed Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met Follow work instructions, production schedules, and supervisor directions Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards Follow all workplace safety policies and PPE requirements Report machine issues, safety concerns, or quality problems immediately Assist with material handling and movement of products Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department Requirements Previous manufacturing experience is an asset Basic knowledge of production machines and equipment Ability to perform basic machine adjustments and tooling setup Robust attention to detail and quality control Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physically able to stand for long periods and lift/move products Commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness Must be legally eligible to work in Canada Working Conditions Fast-paced manufacturing environment Standing for extended periods Operating machinery and handling materials PPE required at all times Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour Benefits: In office parking Application question(s): Do you have experience performing machine setup or tooling changeovers?
