R&d Project Manager Mechanical Engineering Laval (Canada)

Role and responsilibities The R&D; project manager is responsible for ensuring that the client's technical requirements (internal or external) are met for the completion of their project. They act as a key person between the different stakeholders during the project implementation. They must ensure that requirements and deadlines are met. They must also meet with and present the technical aspects to clients Main tasks Manage R&D; Projects Management of R&D; projects concerning the manufacturing of cutting-edge plastic optics; Perform other tasks related to R&D; projects. Take charge of projects from defining the framework to achieving results; Assemble project teams and guide them to achieve results; Monitor the progress of projects to ensure objectives are met and deadlines are respected; Document and present project results to stakeholders; Represent optical solutions of DBM Provide support to clients to enable them to carry out their analysis and simulations; Provide support to sales when they handle the technical representation; Prepare technical documents for after-sales service Required profile and skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; Demonstrates autonomy; Creative mind; Analytical and logical thinking; Flexibility and open-mind; Excellent communication Knowledge, Education and experience Hold a college diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent; Proficient in computer tools (Microsoft Office suite, 3D CAD, …); Bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written.
