Join Arcanaut Studios as a Senior VFX Artist and help create engaging game environments through stunning visual effects. This full-time role is open to candidates in BC or Alberta and is remote-friendly. As a member of Arcanaut Studios, you will be part of a team-oriented team dedicated to innovation in game design. Your role will involve the creation and implementation of real-time effects that enhance gameplay experience. If you excel in using tools like Unreal Engine and have a passion for visual artistry, this position is ideal for you. Key Responsibilities: • Build and optimize complex VFX such as destruction effects • Lead VFX workflow in accordance with production milestones • Work synergistically with teams to fit gameplay requirements • Manage memory usage and visual performance criteria • Research and test recent VFX techniques and tools Requirements: • Over 5 years in VFX for games; at least 1 AAA title • Advanced skills in particle systems, Houdini, and Maya • Portfolio showing solid command of timing and design • Experience writing custom shaders for unique visuals • Understanding of visual scripting in Unreal Engine Elevate your career while contributing to compelling narratives at Arcanaut Studios.
