Experienced Shop Service Technician Sunderland (Canada)

Southpoint Equipment in Sunderland (Formerly Ross Doble inc.) is a growing business, supporting the sale and service of Kubota products for farm, lawn and garden, landscaping and construction needs. We are looking for an experienced Road/ Shop Service Technician to perform mechanical repair and maintenance on agriculture, construction, and heavy equipment on the road and at times after hours and weekends. Preference is given to licensed technicians who understand the Agriculture and Construction market. Apprentice techs that want a rewarding career will also be considered. This position reports to the Service Manager. Compensation will differ based on experience and qualifications. Job Responsibilities: Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following: Inspect and test equipment, diagnose faults and malfunctions, repair and replace mechanical units, test and adjust units to proper specifications Perform scheduled maintenance service, and advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements Install recent and added-on equipment, perform PDI & assembly at times Complete accurate and timely reports to record problems and work performed Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and techniques. Other mechanical work as required. Skills and Qualifications 3 years+ years as a licensed service technician (425A or 421A, Preferred) Experienced apprentice may be considered.
