This role plays a central part in ensuring operational consistency and project success.The Opportunity

This is a hands-on operations role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and wants to be at the center of how projects run day to day. You'll work closely with Project Managers, field teams, vendors, and leadership to solve problems in real time and improve execution across multiple job sites. For someone looking to build a long-term career in construction operations, this role offers broad exposure and meaningful impact.What You'll Do Coordinate project startup activities, ensuring vendor accounts, purchase orders, and documentation are in place so jobs launch without delays Act as a key link between field teams and the office, helping resolve day-to-day operational needs across multiple active sites Manage material logistics by coordinating orders, deliveries, pricing, and allocation based on shifting project schedulesOversee fleet and equipment tracking, including location visibility, maintenance scheduling, inspections, and mobilization planning Maintain operational dashboards and reporting that provide leadership with real-time visibility into project progress and priorities Work cross-functionally with vendors, subcontractors, and accounting to support billing, cost tracking, and issue resolutionWhat Success Looks Like

Within the first 6-12 months: New projects are set up ahead of schedule, with all required vendors, purchase orders, and documentation in place Material flow across projects is reliable and predictable, reducing delays, shortages, and last-minute escalations Equipment and fleet tracking is accurate and up to date, with maintenance and compliance handled proactivelyOperational reporting gives leadership clear, timely insight into project health, costs, and risks Project Managers and field teams rely on you as a go-to problem solver who keeps work moving forward What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in construction, logistics, operations, or a coordination-focused roleStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment Confident communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across office and field teams Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams; experience with dashboards, formulas, or tools like Smartsheet is an assetA proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to solve problems and stay composed under pressure Experience in civil construction, utilities, or telecom is considered an asset Compensation and Benefits Compensation: $52,000 - $72,000 per year Employment type: Full-time Benefits: Full benefits packageWork Location / Schedule Location: Calgary Work setting: In-person Schedule: Full-time hours How to Apply
