Job Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Painter's Helper to join our team at Kidco Construction. The ideal candidate will assist in painting heavy equipment and machinery, demonstrating proficiency with hand and power tools. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to follow technical instructions, and a commitment to supporting high-quality work.Responsibilities

2+ years of paint-prepping and spraying experience on heavy equipment or automobiles is required Assist in preparing surfaces of heavy equipment for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks as needed. Help apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.Support the painting and restoration of over 600 pieces of company-owned heavy equipment, ensuring they look their best. Perform touch-ups and repairs to maintain the aesthetic appeal and functionality of equipment. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during painting projects.Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and provide exceptional support. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. What We Offer

Competitive Compensation: $25/hour or higher, based on candidate experience level. Overtime Pay: After 8 hours each day and 44 hours per week. Vacation/Holiday Pay: 9.6% of each cheque.
