Residential New Construction HVAC Service Technician
Reports To: General Manager and/or Operations Manager Status: Full-time, Regular Location: Central Heating&Air Conditioning, Calgary, AB Position Summary
As a member of our team, you will accurately diagnose and repair problems with residential new construction HVAC equipment. With a strong focus on customer service and a commitment to integrity, you will communicate solutions to customers. Key Responsibilities
Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer concerns in residential new construction environments. Perform service on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment as well as accessories. Perform start‑ups on air conditioning as required. Deliver and remove equipment needed to complete service work.Provide excellent service to customers and sustain high levels of customer satisfaction. Handle customer concerns, questions or problems in an effective manner. Prepare material requisition forms to ensure proper truck stock levels. Perform maintenance on equipment, service and/or clean IAQ products, solder, weld, brazing, and perform minor field fabrication.Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. All valid licensing or certifications required by provincial or local governmental laws or regulations for the geographical work area. License in plumbing, electrical work, sheet metal, or refrigeration is an asset. Proven mechanical aptitude and experience in the HVAC field.Ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform various projects. Skilled at servicing residential heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, as well as related accessories. Demonstrated commitment to customer‑focused service. Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and production diagrams.Ability to work overtime and weekend hours as required. Meet the minimum requirements for the background check criteria.
