Production Operator/Material Handler (Brantford)

Job Overview

SC Johnson is a family‑owned company that produces iconic brands such as Raid, Glade and Ziploc. We are seeking Production Operators to support production lines across multiple technologies. Operators will handle equipment, maintain quality and safety, and work across several functions. Responsibilities

Operate various equipment and powered industrial vehicles across multiple production lines. Follow lean principles, complete batch processing, and prepare system records. Adhere to standard processes, make adjustments, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions. Lead problem‑solving and loss‑team activities, and perform autonomous and planned maintenance.Maintain safety and participate in the Behavioral Based Safety process. Ensure product quality using testing and auditing tools. Collaborate in team meetings and decision‑making, support performance appraisals. Demonstrate independence and teamwork in both small and large group settings. Required Experience&Qualifications

Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent. Mechanical aptitude. Material handling experience with lift‑truck certification. Availability to work all shifts, including nights, afternoons, and continental shifts. Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform ergonomic tasks for 8-12 hours daily.Proficiency with MS Office suite (Outlook, Calendar, Email, Word, Excel). Preferred Experience&Skills

1-3 years of manufacturing experience. Experience in lean manufacturing and GMP. Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and critical‑thinking skills. Basic math and measurement skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.Process‑oriented mindset. Compensation&Benefits
