Kitchen Helper / Line Cook Blachford Lodge by Arctic Kingdom Seasonal, Full-Time Remote Fly-In Lodge, Northwest Territories About Blachford Lodge by Arctic Kingdom Blachford Lodge by Arctic Kingdom is a remote northern wilderness lodge located in the Northwest Territories, offering unforgettable year-round experiences in one of Canada’s most breathtaking landscapes. Accessible only by air, the lodge combines authentic northern adventure with exceptional hospitality, creating a unique and rewarding work workplace unlike anywhere else. We are currently looking for a hardworking, adaptable, and team-oriented Kitchen Helper / Line Cook to join our lodge operations team for the upcoming season. What You’ll Be Doing Kitchen Support & Dishwashing - Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout service - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchen and dishwashing areas - Assist with kitchen opening and closing duties - Support kitchen organization and cleanliness throughout the day Food Preparation & Cooking Support - Assist with food prep and ingredient preparation - Support line cooking and meal service as required - Help cover kitchen operations on days when the Chef or Sous Chef are off rotation - Assist with stocking coolers, freezers, and dry storage Waste & Lodge Support - Handle kitchen garbage, recycling, and kitchen slop waste safely and efficiently - Receive and organize food and supply deliveries - Support overall lodge operations during busy periods and guest turnovers What We’re Looking For - Strong work ethic and positive attitude - Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment - Ability to stay organized and maintain cleanliness standards - Willingness to assist wherever needed to support lodge operations - Previous kitchen, camp, restaurant, or hospitality experience is considered an asset - Previous dishwashing, prep cook, or line cook experience is considered an asset - Remote camp or northern experience is considered an asset Working Environment This is a remote fly-in lodge position in the Northwest Territories. Team members live and work on site for the duration of their scheduled rotation. The role involves physical work, teamwork, adaptability, and working in a dynamic hospitality environment.
