Landscaper Foreman – Softscape (Kanata)

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscaper Foreman specializing in Softscape to lead and oversee landscape projects focused on planting, horticulture, planting, sod, garden installation, and property beautification. This role is hands-on and leadership focused, ideal for someone passionate about landscape installation and team leadership. Responsibilities - Lead and supervise softscape crews on residential job sites - Oversee installation of sod, trees, shrubs, plants, mulch, soil, and garden beds - Read and interpret landscape plans and planting layouts - Coordinate daily tasks, materials, deliveries, and equipment - Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards - Maintain plant health and proper installation practices - Enforce safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites - Communicate with project managers, clients, and suppliers - Train, mentor, and motivate crew members - Perform final walkthroughs and quality inspections on completed projects Experience - 3+ years of experience in landscaping or softscape installation - Previous foreman or crew leadership experience preferred - Strong knowledge of plant materials, soil preparation, and landscape installation techniques - Ability to read landscape drawings and planting plans - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation - Strong organizational and communication skills - Physically able to perform demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour Benefits: - In office parking Ability to commute/relocate: - Kanata, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pt1hg
