Expert Physio is looking for a Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our dynamic and fast-paced physiotherapy clinic. What We’re Looking For We are seeking a confident, efficient, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a busy clinical environment. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, highly organized, and comfortable multitasking while providing excellent patient care. You should be able to work independently and as part of a supportive team. Key Responsibilities - Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone with exceptional customer service - Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently - Handle billing, payments, and follow up on outstanding accounts and insurance rejections - Perform electronic filing, faxing, scanning, and general administrative duties - Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area - Process direct billing for WCB, ICBC, MSP, and private insurance plans Qualifications & Skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent customer service abilities - Highly organized with strong attention to detail - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new systems - Previous MOA experience preferred - Familiarity with Jane EMR considered an asset Schedule - Part time coverage: - Wednesdays: approximately 1:00 PM – 8:00/9:00 PM - Fridays: approximately 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM - Saturdays: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM - Additional hours may be available - Sick and vacation coverage as required How to Apply If this sounds like a great fit for you, we’d love to hear from you.
