Exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer-in-Training at Phasor Engineering Inc. based in Burnaby, BC. Work on protection and control engineering projects impacting energy reliability.

As a Protection&Control EIT, you will collaborate with seasoned engineers in designing and implementing protection systems. Your efforts will encompass preparing technical documents and gaining firsthand experience during site commissioning activities, ensuring effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:• Assist in the protection and control design process • Create and review control schematics and layout documents • Execute protection coordination calculations and studies • Program various protection and control devices • Participate actively in project site visits

Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent • Eligible for EIT registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC • Experience in utility design or power systems is an advantage • Familiarity with relay coordination and protection principles • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
