Senior Project Manager, Burnaby

Rayner Construction Services (RCS) was established in Calgary in 2017 and has been operating in BC since 2020. The company is committed to expanding its footprint in British Columbia. Subsequently they have just acquired a permanent office in Burnaby. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to play a key role in further establishing a long-term commercial construction presence for RCS in the Vancouver Lower Mainland market. This role goes beyond day-to-day project delivery—it is also about shaping client experience and building strong consultant and trade relationships.

In this role, you will lead commercial construction projects with values from $100k-10m from preconstruction handover through to close-out, with full accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety. You will likely be managing multiple projects simultaneously, identify and resolve risks early, and ensure projects are delivered with strong financial controls, clear communication, and a high standard of execution. Your leadership and professionalism will help position RCS as a contractor of choice in the local market, contributing to both current project success and future opportunities.

As the business expands, there will be opportunities to take on larger or more complex projects, contribute to market strategy and pursuit decisions, and help build and mentor a local project team. You will work closely with senior leadership and have visibility into decision-making and long-term planning, with the opportunity to step into broader leadership responsibilities over time.

You will earn a salary of between $130-150K (commensurate with experience), along with participation in RCS' discretionary bonus program, generous vacation and personal days, and extended health and benefits package.
