As a Verification & Automation Engineer, a typical day might include the following: Maintain advanced technical knowledge and skills to contribute to the development and enhancement of integration and automation features in SEL mission critical communication products. Define, develop and analyze product specifications, functional tests, and system validation and verification processes. Set up real communication networks to instrument with 3rd party testing equipment to verify correct operation with automation strategies. Develop scripts to debug and optimize R&D; product development phases. Diagnose customer reported problems with integration and communication features and document issues for developers. Provide technical and market analysis to evaluate proposed products or enhancements. This job might be for you if: You possess a B.S. degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent You have demonstrated experience with multiple communication protocols. Typically, you will have 2+ years of experience in set up and configuration of a broad range of network devices and interfaces with Python and REST API. Typically, you will have 2+ years of experience in a verification or compliance role within new product introduction team. Previously collaboration with R&D; engineers. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the salary range may differ if filled at a different level. Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
