Opportunity We are seeking a Manager, Production to support the Production Operations Director in safely maximizing profitability across our Canadian operations. This role is responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team, driving operational excellence, and delivering value through optimized production performance. What you will do - Lead and manage a team of Area Engineers, a Rig Coordinator Engineer, and a Production Technician within the CBU. - Provide mentorship, technical leadership, and strategic direction to support team development and performance. - Oversee the identification, development, and execution of subsurface and surface optimization projects focused on increasing production, reducing costs, improving safety, and meeting economic targets. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational reliability and optimize mean time between failures. - Champion a robust safety culture in partnership with the Director, reinforcing safe work practices across the CBU. - Ensure well‑servicing HSE incidents are thoroughly investigated and that corrective actions are effectively implemented. - Support acquisition and divestiture activities, including technical evaluations and integration efforts. - Ensure accurate production reporting and accrual processes. - Collaborate closely with the Asset Team and Facilities leadership to align on and deliver CBU objectives. What you will bring - Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation preferred; experienced Professional Technologists (P.Tech) with a demonstrated track record of delivering results in similar roles will be considered. - 15+ years of relevant oil and gas industry experience. - 5+ years of experience as a formal leader. - Demonstrated ability to drive value creation and operational improvements. - Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and perform in a fast‑paced environment. - Proven project management capabilities.
