The Wingate by Wyndham Calgary Airport Mission Statement: - To our guests: Provide a safe and comfortable place to stay while they’re away from home that constantly exceeds expectations and inspires loyalty. - To our team: Provide an environment that’s fun and engaging for our team that inspires loyalty. - To our future: Provide great occupancy and rate to keep our company set up for success Hotel Maintenance Responsibilities for this role include: - Making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems - Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair - Shuttle Driving - Shoveling snow and clearing ice from walkways and parking areas - Mowing grass and tending grounds - Reviewing maintenance reports and scheduling/prioritizing repairs based on hotel needs - Ensuring compliance with all health and safety policies and procedures, fire regulations and hotel security - Constantly seeking out ways to improve service and increase guest satisfaction - Complying with all legislative requirements and internal standards, policies, and procedures while upholding the company’s core values - Driving the shuttle - Other relevant and related duties as assigned Requirements: - 1 - 2 years Maintenance experience in heating/cooling, plumbing, electrical and pool/whirlpool maintenance - Must be available to work shifts including evenings, weekends and potentially be on call - Good interpersonal and communication skills Salary: $15.00-$20.00 per hour Job Types: Permanent, Part-time, Full-time Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour Perks: - Company events - Discounted or free food - On-site parking Ability to commute/relocate: - Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: - maintenance: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pt6yh
