As we continue to scale, we are expanding our Finance team and seeking a skilled Intermediate Accountant who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and wants to contribute to the success of a rapidly growing industry leader. The Opportunity Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Intermediate Accountant plays a vital role in supporting our daily accounting operations, multi‑currency vendor payments, warranty credit processing, credit card administration, lead schedule maintenance, and month‑end close procedures. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role that works closely with AP, AR, Service, Sales, and Leadership teams. Key Responsibilities - Corporate Credit Card Management: Administer corporate credit cards, support cardholders, ensure accurate coding, reconcile statements, and process monthly payments. - Monthly Payment Runs: Coordinate high‑volume CAD, USD, and EUR payment runs; prepare and upload EFT/ACH/wire batches; notify vendors; handle off‑cycle/urgent payments. - AP & Vendor Support: Assist with parts and miscellaneous PO postings; resolve errors; respond to vendor inquiries; request invoices; validate EFT info; process reimbursements. - Warranty Credits: Record warranty credits, reconcile the warranty GL monthly, and process approved write‑offs. - Lead Schedules: Prepare monthly lead schedules for Prepaid Insurance, Leasehold Improvements, Parts Accrual, and PP&E.; - Daily & Weekly Accounting Tasks: Deposit cheques, process phone credit card payments, monitor weekly card activity, maintain vendor communication, and review parts PO accuracy. - Month-End Close Support: Support AP completion (Days 1–5), assist with reconciliations and lead schedules (Days 6–8), and submit final documentation to the Accounting Manager (Days 9–10). Qualifications - 2–4+ years of progressive accounting experience. - Strong understanding of AP/AR workflows, reconciliations, and month‑end processes. - Proficient with Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivots, formulas). - Experience with Intellidealer or similar ERPs is an asset. - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and effective at managing competing deadlines. - Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
