Infant Toddler Educator (Chilliwack)

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Educator to join our team, committed to fostering a positive learning environment for children. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young learners, including those with disabilities, and possess a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and caregiving. Responsibilities - Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development. - Provide individualized support to children, including those with special needs or disabilities, ensuring an inclusive environment. - Foster a nurturing and safe classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and social-emotional growth. - Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to monitor progress and address each child's unique needs. - Assist with daily caregiving routines such as feeding, diapering, and hygiene activities. - Maintain accurate records of children's progress and activities for reporting purposes. - Promote positive behavior management strategies to support children's social skills and emotional well-being. Experience - Prior classroom experience working with young children in educational or caregiving settings. - Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. - Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices. - Demonstrated ability to engage children through creative teaching methods and activities. - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and children. - Compassionate caregiving skills with patience and understanding for diverse learning needs.
