Construction Worker (Cobourg)

Purpose of this position: To assist with construction projects in a manner that does not interfere with the quiet and relaxation of the guests at Ste. Anne’s. Specific Duties: - Framing - Tile & laminate flooring - Roofing - shingles, steel - Drywall - Showers - tile, backsplashes - Trim - casing, base - Installing doors - interior & exterior - Window installation - Decks & fences - Painting/staining - Concrete - forming & light finishing Key Responsibilities: - Secure use and understanding of power tools such as saws, drills, hand tools, etc. - Perform preventative maintenance on tools/equipment, and/or report any broken tools/equipment to manager. - Wear appropriate PPE and weather-appropriate clothing. - Complete assigned tasks and projects in a timely and satisfactory manner. - Keep Manager in the loop on low materials and issues on the job. - Maintain work areas, construction areas, and outdoor areas in a safe, neat and orderly condition. Requirements: - Capable of lifting 50-100 lbs on a regular basis. - Monday to Friday regular schedule, but willing to stay late or come in early if occasionally required to meet tight deadlines or complete critical tasks. - Minimum 3 years relevant experience. #LPIND Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour Benefits: - Casual dress - Dental care - Disability insurance - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - Paid time off - Vision care Flexible language requirement: - French not required Application question(s): - Are you willing to undergo a criminal record check?
