Dental Assistant Level II (Cobourg)

Overview We are seeking a Dental Assistant Level II to join our dental team. The Dental Assistant Level II support dentists in providing dental care. It is key that the dental assistant is ok with corny dental puns and Star Wars references. We are open Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm One day off a week is possible if needed Responsibilities - Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including some Invisalign and pediatrics - Prepare treatment rooms by and setting up necessary supplies - Taking dental radiographs - Manage patient records accurately using AbelDent software systems, training will be provided - Provide patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort - Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards - Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions Experience - Dental Assistant with Level II certification - Knowledge of dental assisting best practices, including sterilization and infection control procedures - Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to dentistry is desirable - Prior experience supporting dental reception duties is advantageous We are looking for a positive person who is ready to jump and learn the job!
