Primary Responsibilities

Building new and repairing existing dies consisting of progressive dies, jigs, and fixtures.

Maintaining extremely close tolerances to reduce cost and improve speed and quality of production operations.

Laying out and performing bench and machine operations to construct, alter, and repair dies, jigs, fixtures, and special tools.

Performing tool and die maintenance and repair duties.

Verifying quality and print specifications are met.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required Education&Experience: 2 year trade school program or equivalent, Journeyman's Card, 5+ years previous experience in building new metal stamping and progressive dies. Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach and lift material up to 50 lbs.
