Accounts Receivable Specialist (Roper Industrial)

About the role Walker Wellhead Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable & Administrative Specialist to join our team. This position is central to our finance operations, handling the full AR cycle, supporting accounts payable as needed, managing our online customer portal, and providing front-line administrative support. Key responsibilities - Manage the full accounts receivable cycle — invoicing, payment application, reconciliations, and aging reports. - Upload, manage, and maintain documentation through the online customer portal. - Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, statements, and account discrepancies. - Answer and direct incoming phone calls, providing professional front-line administrative support. - Assist with general office administration including filing, data entry, and correspondence. - Support the accounts payable team with cross-training duties as required - Work directly with managers across multiple branches to coordinate billing, documentation, and account activity. - Work within AIMS and Discovery ERP to process and track transactions accurately. - Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and ensure timely collections. What we're looking for - 3–5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role - Accounting diploma, certificate, or equivalent education — or demonstrated practical experience. - Proven experience with online customer portals and document uploading (required), such as Open Invoice and Ariba. - Comfortable working in ERP systems; experience with AIMS or Discovery ERP is an asset. - Strong phone etiquette and qualified communication skills. - High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). - Exposure to accounts payable processes is considered an asset.
