We are currently recruiting for a detail-oriented and dedicated Temporary Part Time Ground Maintenance Worker - to join our St Michael's team reporting to the Director, General Services. You will perform maintenance duties as directed by supervisor. Responsibilities: - Cut grass, rake, aerate, dethatch, fertilize and water lawns, weed gardens, prune shrubs and trees. - Operate power mowers, tractors, clippers, and other landscape maintenance equipment. - Minor maintenance as needed - Painting touch ups. - Check fire extinguisher and exit lights. - Deliver goods to various departments. - Assist with move-ins for new residents. All successful candidates must have, prior to start date: - A current and transparent Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Check that has been obtained no more than 90 calendar days prior to the hire date.
