Financial Manager / Controller Global Manufacturer Edmonton

We are working with a global industrial manufacturing and engineering services business supporting energy, infrastructure, and industrial markets. The company designs, manufactures, and services engineered equipment and operates in a hands-on, operationally driven workplace. They are now seeking a Finance Manager / Controller to lead site-level finance activities and act as a key business partner to operations and senior leadership. This is a broad, operational finance position with ownership across reporting, controls, and decision support. You will be embedded within the business rather than sitting in a purely corporate or transactional function. Key responsibilities include: Full ownership of site P&L; and monthly management reporting Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Cost accounting, inventory management, and margin analysis Oversight of AP, AR, payroll, and cash flow Supporting operational and capital investment decisions Strengthening financial controls, systems, and reporting processes Acting as the primary finance interface for audits, tax, and compliance Partnering closely with site leadership and operations teams About You Proven experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance role Background in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments Solid understanding of cost structures, WIP, inventory, and production finance Hands-on, commercially minded, and comfortable in a site-based role CPA or equivalent qualification preferred What’s on Offer Base salary: CAD 135,000 - 150,000 pa Performance-based bonus Secure, well-established business with global reach High-visibility role with direct operational impact Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ojgrg
