Overview
DevOps Architect (Remote - US or Canada) We are seeking an experienced DevOps Architect to lead the design, automation, and operational excellence of enterprise-scale platforms. In this role, you will focus on building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, managing Kubernetes-based infrastructure, and enabling secure, scalable deployments. You will collaborate closely with platform engineers, SREs, and development teams to ensure reliability, observability, and continuous improvement of core systems. This hands-on position is ideal for professionals passionate about infrastructure automation, platform resiliency, and implementing modern DevOps best practices across diverse environments.Responsibilities
Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for fast, repeatable, and secure deployments Manage container orchestration and deployment using Kubernetes (EKS) and Helm Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring to enhance application reliability and performanceCollaborate with SRE and development teams to create tooling for observability, diagnostics, and resiliency Troubleshoot deployment issues and lead root cause analysis for platform-related incidents Implement advanced deployment strategies, including canary releases, blue/green deployments, and rollback mechanismsEnsure infrastructure and processes comply with security and audit standards using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices Requirements
10+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles Expertise in Jenkins for building robust CI/CD pipelines Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, preferably AWS EKS, and Helm Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Groovy, and version control systems like GitExperience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog) Comfortable working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams Preferred: exposure to cloud-native technologies (ArgoCD, Flux, Kustomize), service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), SRE practices including SLIs/SLOs, and security/compliance automation (CIS benchmarks)Benefits
