Medical office assistant (Edmonton)

Looking for a medical office assistant to work with experienced PTs at the clinic. Duties would include but may not be limited to, client bookings, billings and clinic admin and maintenance and cleaning duties, In addition to greeting people and direct them to contacts or service areas. Provide basic information to clients and the public. Obtain and process information required to provide customer service. Operate telephone system. Order office supplies. Record and relay information. Schedule and confirm appointments. Perform clerical duties, such as filing and sorting and distributing mail. Calculate billing charges. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Repetitive tasks. Background in Medical office assistant at a physical therapy clinic is an asset.
