We are excited to introduce a new office right in the heart of the Ritchie community. Our goal is to be community rooted, and provide high quality comprehensive dental care. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our initial team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, supporting the dental practitioners, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality service and patient comfort. Prior experience with Curve dental software, as well as familiarity with surgery, and invisalign will be highly valued. The position requires a professional who is detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to maintaining high standards of dental assisting. Duties - Assist dentists during various procedures, including restorative, surgical, orthodontic, and pediatric treatments - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols - Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary - Manage patient records efficiently using dental software such as Curve - Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care - Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns or questions during visits - Support front desk duties as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment at all times - Assist in the fabrication of dental appliances or models if required Skills - Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with knowledge of dental assisting procedures and protocols - Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Curve Dental Software for record management - Knowledge of surgical, orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures - Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care - Ability to operate Itero scanner for digital impressions or lab work support - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages - Ability to work collaboratively within a team of dental professionals - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently - Certification or licensure as a Registered Dental Assistant is required or preferred This position offers an engaging work environment where your skills can make a meaningful difference in patients’ oral health.
