Lead Web Designer & Creative Strategist (Edmonton)

Responsibilities - Design beautiful and functional responsive website layouts at the direction of the Creative Director - Design custom brand materials, including logos, branding guidelines, custom graphics, packaging, brochures, business cards, and other print assets. - Ensure compliance with web accessibility guidelines while balancing SEO optimization requirements. - Manage web projects from concept through development review, managing project workflows, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure they are delivered within expected timelines. - Assist with project estimation. - Meet, correspond with, and coordinate directly with clients to ensure design concepts meet their objectives. - Communicate and coordinate with developers to ensure designs are implemented correctly during the programming phase. - Communicate and coordinate with SEO and content teams to ensure design supports optimization efforts. - Staying current with evolving UI/UX trends. - Working on occasion with in-house or third-party designers to ensure brand consistency across mediums, act as liaison between other designers and clients, and ensure designs are compatible with Web3’s standards. - Uploading and formatting content, imagery, and media assets. Qualifications - Proficiency with Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator is a must. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and cross-functional teams are a must. - Experience with Adobe XD and Adobe InDesign is considered an asset. - Experience with WordPress, HTML, and CSS are assets.
