Commercial Insurance Advisor (BOB Farm) (Edmonton)

About the Role Commercial Insurance Advisor – Full Time, Permanent, Vegreville, Alberta. Focus on servicing and expanding a predominantly farm commercial book of business. Responsibilities - Service existing farm commercial book of business, with opportunities to grow and expand it. - Provide prompt customer service, advise customers, help them understand insurance coverage, and discuss concerns. - Review and provide processing instructions on all incoming commercial paperwork. - Assist with customer quotes, write new business, review existing coverage, and update customer file information. - Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for new clients, and issue insurance certificates. - Review and provide processing instructions on endorsements, and follow up on payments. - Communicate with insurance companies, negotiate with underwriters on behalf of customers, negotiate renewal terms, and follow up with adjusters on claim status. - Source and obtain additional information requested by the underwriter and complete applications. Qualifications - High School Diploma and/or Post‑Secondary Education (preferred). - At least two years of customer service experience. - Three to five years of insurance experience, preferably commercial or farm. - AIC Insurance License Level I or II. - Exposure to EPIC – asset. - Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). - Excellent customer service skills and conflict resolution ability. - Ability to handle multiple priorities successfully. - Solid analytical and organizational skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
