Registered Dental Assistant (Edmonton)

Design Dentistry is a well-established, modern dental practice in West Edmonton seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant. This is a current position as we expand our existing team. We can work with the ideal candidate on an ideal schedule and we are open to either part-time or full-time. Evening and weekend availability is a requirement. Many staff members have been here 5+ years - Stable leadership with clear direction and expectations - Efficient systems and strong clinical flow already in place - Convenient West Edmonton location near Anthony Henday and the upcoming LRT route, as well as convenient places to grab lunch - Professional, team-oriented environment that values accountability and consistency The Role You will be a key driver of patient experience: - Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and surgeries - Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials - Take digital radiographs and intraoral scans - iTero experience is an asset - Perform chairside duties efficiently while maintaining a calm, patient-focused environment - Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention and sterilization protocols - Maintain accurate clinical records and charting - Support smooth clinic flow by coordinating with the administrative and clinical teams - Help create a positive, professional, and welcoming experience for patients of all ages Who You Are - Experienced Registered Dental Assistant licensed in Alberta and in good standing with appropriate regulatory body - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment - Reliable, organized and detail-oriented We use Open Dental and Max Assist. Experience is an asset, but training is provided.
